No. Anyone can search and browse in the CheckNuh app. You only need a free account to message or call a business, get directions, or save listings.

No. Only businesses registered on CheckNuh can be messaged or called in the app. Some results come from other stores; those are marked Visit Site and open on the store's own website, where you contact them directly.

You pay the business directly and arrange pickup or delivery with them. CheckNuh connects you with the business but doesn't handle payment for the goods.

No. Searching, saving and contacting businesses are free. Customers pay businesses directly for what they buy.

CheckNuh is live in Jamaica, with search organised by parish and town.

No. Customers pay businesses directly, and CheckNuh doesn't take a percentage of any sale. Businesses pay a monthly plan instead.

So customers know every store on CheckNuh is run by a real person who owns that business, each owner sends a photo of their government ID, and every business is cross-referenced with its registration at the Companies Office of Jamaica. If you can't present ID, send your business registration certificate from the Companies Office of Jamaica instead. Documents are kept in private storage, are only seen by the CheckNuh staff member reviewing them, and are never shown to customers.

Yes, if they meet our photo rules. Each photo must show one product only (different colours or sizes of that same product are fine, and for clothing a shirt, pants, shoes and a belt can be shown together as one outfit). It must be clean: in focus, well lit, on a plain, tidy background with nothing else in the shot. And it must be labelled on the photo with the brand and product name and key details such as size, colour or storage; if you show a price, it must match your listing. Our team checks every photo a business takes itself before the listing is posted, so it can take some time, and the app lets you know as soon as your listing is live. Listings with professional photos from the Photo Studio are posted straight away.

A dashboard in the app, included with Pro, that shows what customers are searching for, which products are in demand but hard to find on CheckNuh, and how your own store and listings are performing. It only shows totals, never who searched.

In your Apple or Google account's subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the current month ends. You keep your plan until the end of the month you've paid for.

You pay per finished professional photo, not per photo you add. Each one is made from your photos of the item, the front and a second angle. The price depends on your plan: US$0.29 each on Pro, and US$0.49 each otherwise, including Basic and Plus. The app shows the exact total before you confirm.

No. Any business can upload photos on the website. Once your business is verified, you can make professional photos in the app at the standard US$0.49 rate. Pro lowers that rate to US$0.29, and you need a plan to post listings.

They're saved to your CheckNuh account, so you can use them from the app on any device. Photos that aren't turned into professional photos within 15 days of uploading are deleted automatically.

All purchases happen in the CheckNuh app through the App Store or Google Play, so your card details stay with Apple or Google and are never handled by CheckNuh.
